Design a community people don't want to leave.
For people building online communities, memberships, and onboarding. In four weeks you'll develop the strategy behind yours, using real examples, metrics that fit, and systems that scale.
Save your seat →Community work is hard, and often lonely.
You're expected to grow it, keep people engaged, prove it's worth the budget, and hold the whole culture together, often as a team of one. The work is real and it matters, but it's easy to feel under-resourced, undervalued, and unsure what to measure or what's actually working.
Hi, I'm Christina.
I've built and scaled communities, including global programs with CreativeMornings like (Virtual Field Trips and Clubs), as well as spending a decade helping run a startup program that brings founders together in Menorca each year.
This sprint brings that hands-on, real-world approach to four weeks: no vague advice, no "just start a Slack channel," just real examples, the metrics and systems that actually work, and a room of people in the arena building alongside you.
Not theory. What actually works.
We look at real communities, what's worked and what hasn't, so you're learning from the field, not a slide of best practices.
Engagement isn't one size fits all. We work out what's worth measuring for your community, and why a lurker doesn't have to be a bad word.
Use AI to build systems that lighten the load, not replace the human touch. We name what to automate, and protect the space that stays human.
You leave with the structures, not just ideas: the frameworks and tools I use, ready to run on your own community.
Does this sound like you?
If any of these are your reality right now, this sprint is where you build the strategy to move through it.
Foundations, then the belonging arc
Foundations
An engaged community starts with a clear purpose and a real sense of who it's for. We get under both, and start shaping the strategy the rest of the sprint builds on.
Orientation
- How are people discovering you, and how are you acquiring new members?
- How do you activate referral engines to keep growing, if growth is a goal?
- How are you inviting people in, and what do their first 30, 60, and 90 days look like?
Participation
- The rituals and artifacts that make your community unlike anywhere else
- What to actually measure for engagement, and how to define it for you (a lurker doesn't have to be a bad word)
- Live examples of what's worked and what hasn't
Return
- How you keep people staying and coming back, instead of quietly churning
- Identifying and leveling up your internal leaders and champions
- The systems, tools, and AI that lighten the load and protect your time for the human touch
